The story of "Matilda" is all about children's ingenuity and spirit and their genuiness that is opposed to the cruelty and strictness of adults.  Matilda is a gifted child, and her indifferent parents, along with the paranoid principal of her school who intimidates and insults her students, create all sort of tensions...

The performance is based on the musical "Μatilda" by Dennis Kelly and the score by Tim Minchin, which, in turn is based on the namesake novel by Roald Dahl.

As with all of the performances of the Athletic & Cultural Center of Avgoulea - Linardatou Schools our students from 1st to 12th grade are participating, who are attending Latin, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary Dance, Gymnastics, Street Dance, Theater, Body Drumming and Choir classes.

Halandri Community Market

The organization provides basic groceries at no charge to fellow citizens in need. We want to help the organization to re-stock its shelves: our goal is to collect 525 bags of groceries (one for each seat in the house).

So, instead of selling tickets, we’re asking you to bring a small bag of groceries as the cost of admission to the show.

*The Market is in need of the following items: oil, sugar, flour, pasta, dried beans, sauces, paper goods, cleaning products and personal hygeine items

Join us for a night of song, dance and laughter, as a cast of 50 ACS Athens teachers, staff, administrators, alumni and students entertain you with an old-fashioned variety show.

Our cast of singers, dancers, instrumentalists, actors, and comedians and the technical staff at the Theater at ACS Athens have put together a show that will have you humming, laughing, tapping your feet and singing along: all to celebrate our community and to support our Halandri neighbors in a time of need.
